Getting around

Cycling is easy in this part of Kitchener because Laurentian West boasts fairly good bicycling infrastructure. Most houses for sale in this area are located in places that are also fairly conducive to those who travel by walking, although common amenities such as banks or liquor stores can be an occasionally long stroll away. Laurentian West is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. On the other hand, cars are a very good transportation option in this neighbourhood. The majority of real estate listings are a rather short car ride from the closest highway, such as Highway 7 & 8, and it is easy to find a parking spot.

It is straightforward to reach the nearest supermarket as a pedestrian from any location in Laurentian West. Likewise, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner, and residents are served by a few cafes as well. With respect to education, primary schools and daycares are very easy to reach without a car from most homes for sale in Laurentian West.
