A NEIGHBOURHOOD IN CONTEXT

Start with how
you spend your day.

O'Connor-Parkview has a character that appeals to a fairly diverse group of people. O'Connor-Parkview is very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. However, there is a fair amount of greenery in this area; green spaces, including Lower Don Parklands and Flemingdon Park, are very well-spread out and there are over 50 of them nearby for residents to discover, making them very easy to access. Moreover, residents will find that there are numerous tree-lined streets. Finally, although the ambience is not the most lively in this area, its busier streets can still be quite dynamic, and with the nightlife venues in nearby neighbourhoods, it is easy to find a place to grab a drink since they are generally located a short walk away.

Getting around

This part of the city presents property owners with several alternative methods of transportation. This neighbourhood is home to a reasonably good public transit system. In particular, residents benefit from Main Street Station - Eastbound Platform and Main Street Station - Westbound Platform on the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth). There are approximately 20 bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. It is also convenient for pedestrians to navigate O'Connor-Parkview; many daily needs can be carried out without a vehicle, and there are also a good number of businesses nearby. This part of the city is reasonably conducive to biking.

Everyday essentials

Home buyers in this neighbourhood will value that a grocery store is always only a short trip away. O'Connor Drive is among the best streets for food stores. In addition, there is generally a restaurant or cafe just around the corner. When it comes to education, it is a very short distance to get to daycares and primary schools from anywhere in O'Connor-Parkview. In contrast, it can be difficult to access high schools without a car.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you
call it home.

What do the location scores measure?

Local Logic supplies individual access and character scores on a 0–5 scale for the recorded coordinates. Consider each measure separately; we do not calculate an overall livability rating.

Are the distances walking times?

No. Distances are straight-line measurements from the project reference. Open directions to check a walking, cycling, transit or driving route.

Does a nearby school guarantee admission?

No. Confirm attendance boundaries, programs, capacity and registration requirements with the relevant school board.

Do the demographic figures describe future residents?

No. They describe the existing population in the provider’s surrounding study area. They do not predict the buyers or future residents of this project.

SOURCES & METHODOLOGY

A guide with a clear point of reference.

Prepared by Team Arora. Scores, neighbourhood descriptions, school records, places and demographic information are supplied by Local Logic. Requests are cached for up to 24 hours; underlying source periods may be older. Provider neighbourhood labels may differ from builder descriptions. Missing data remains unavailable.

Recorded coordinates: 43.7121051, -79.30736259999999. Amenity queries use a 2.5 km radius; school results retain the provider’s school-search coverage. Distances use the returned straight-line measurement, or are calculated directly between coordinates when absent. The project page includes the existing map; Google provides the linked directions. Verify current place details, boundaries and routes before making a decision.
