Columbia Street in particular offers a great variety of bars. However, there are about 40 parks close by for residents to explore, like Queen's Park Heritage Conservation Area and Glenbrook Ravine Park, and they are especially well-spread out, which makes them easy to get to.

Downtown offers property owners the choice between a variety of means of transportation. Thanks to plenty of nearby rapid transit stations on the Expo Line, and about 10 nearby bus lines, the transit in Downtown is very good. Downtown will also appeal to home buyers who appreciate being in an area that's walkable as it is very walking-friendly; many day-to-day errands can be run without a vehicle, and various businesses are rather close at hand. It is easy to commute by bicycle in this neighbourhood since the bicycling network is well-developed.

Everyday essentials

In Downtown, families will almost always be able to get to schools and daycares as pedestrians. As far as food is concerned, it is very often an option for house buyers in this area to purchase groceries as pedestrians. Tenth Street is among the best streets for groceries. Likewise, there are over 50 restaurants and approximately 10 cafes to experience in this area. Home buyers can find a fair number of nearby clothing stores.
