A NEIGHBOURHOOD IN CONTEXT

Start with how
you spend your day.

Broadview North is a "jack-of-all-trades" when it comes to the feel of this area. Finding bustling places is easy in this neighbourhood. Despite the fact that there are few nearby entertainment venues, there are often a very large number of people around, and finding one of the a few bars is very easy as they are generally situated in very convenient locations. Broadview North is reasonably quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour, although that is not the case closer to Don Valley Parkway or one of the railway lines. This neighbourhood also features a fair amount of greenery; it is very easy to get to green spaces in the neighbourhood since there are over 50 of them nearby for residents to visit. Residents will also find that numerous tree-lined streets are prominent.

Getting around

This area permits homeowners to travel using a diversity of means of transportation. Thanks to many nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth), and around 20 nearby bus lines, this area is very transit friendly. This part of Toronto will also attract house buyers who want to live in a compact area since it is particularly geared towards getting around on foot; running daily errands is very convenient without needing to use a car, and numerous businesses are close at hand. A fair number of people in the area use their bicycle because bike-share stations are hardly ever more than a short distance away.

Everyday essentials

In Broadview North, parents and their children will almost always be able to get to primary schools and daycares by foot. In contrast, families may consider it challenging for their schoolchildren to access high schools as pedestrians. With respect to eating, it is very convenient to reach both a general and a specialty grocery store without a car from most houses for sale in this part of the city. Furthermore, owing to 100-odd restaurants and cafes in Broadview North, there is usually a spot to get some food or drink just around the corner. It is also very easy to access a selection of clothing stores as a pedestrian.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you
call it home.

What do the location scores measure?

Local Logic supplies individual access and character scores on a 0–5 scale for the recorded coordinates. Consider each measure separately; we do not calculate an overall livability rating.

Are the distances walking times?

No. Distances are straight-line measurements from the project reference. Open directions to check a walking, cycling, transit or driving route.

Does a nearby school guarantee admission?

No. Confirm attendance boundaries, programs, capacity and registration requirements with the relevant school board.

Do the demographic figures describe future residents?

No. They describe the existing population in the provider’s surrounding study area. They do not predict the buyers or future residents of this project.

SOURCES & METHODOLOGY

A guide with a clear point of reference.

Prepared by Team Arora. Scores, neighbourhood descriptions, school records, places and demographic information are supplied by Local Logic. Requests are cached for up to 24 hours; underlying source periods may be older. Provider neighbourhood labels may differ from builder descriptions. Missing data remains unavailable.

Recorded coordinates: 43.6841845, -79.35667269999999. Amenity queries use a 2.5 km radius; school results retain the provider’s school-search coverage. Distances use the returned straight-line measurement, or are calculated directly between coordinates when absent. The project page includes the existing map; Google provides the linked directions. Verify current place details, boundaries and routes before making a decision.
