Transportation

Old Mill affords home buyers several alternative modes of transportation. Owing to many nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth), and a few nearby bus lines, Old Mill is an extremely pleasant part of Toronto for travelling by public transit. This part of the city will also attract people who want to live in a compact community as it is rather accommodating to getting around on foot; many day-to-day needs can be met without a vehicle, and various businesses are reasonably close by. Old Mill is amenable to cycling.

Services

In Old Mill, parents and their kids will almost always be able to reach schools and daycares as pedestrians. When it comes to eating, it is straightforward to get to both a general and a specialty grocery store by foot from anywhere in this part of the city. Furthermore, those who are fond of dining out won't have to go far in this neighbourhood, where around 30 restaurants and a few coffee shops are available. It is also a short walk to a very good selection of clothing stores.

There are around 20 public green spaces nearby for residents to unwind in, including Home Smith Park, and they are very well-spread out, making it very easy to reach them from a lot of locations within Old Mill.
