Government Road offers home buyers the choice between a variety of modes of transportation. This part of Burnaby is very car friendly. It is very convenient to come across a place to park, and nearby highways are fairly easy to reach from anywhere in Government Road. Thanks to various nearby rapid transit stations on the Millennium Line and Expo Line, and a few nearby bus lines, the good transit service makes transit a viable option for many people. It is convenient to get around by bike in Government Road. It is challenging for people travelling by foot to navigate Government Road because few common errands can be run without a car.

Services

Families will welcome that no matter where their property is situated in Government Road, primary schools and daycares are close by. However, high schools are not plentiful and thus may require a very long trip to get to. With respect to food, a supermarket is generally reachable within a reasonably short stroll from any location in this part of the city. Likewise, Government Road is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat, and a limited variety of cafes is available as well.
