Transportation
Langstaff will draw people who appreciate walkability since it is well-suited to walking; many day-to-day needs can be carried out without a vehicle. The bike is a reasonably good means of transportation in Langstaff. The transit system in Langstaff is not especially practical. Thankfully, there is the Langstaff with access to the Richmond Hill. The closest rapid transit station, such as Richmond Hill Centre Platform 3, Yonge / Weldrick and Highway 7 / South Park Rd on the Viva Blue, Viva Orange and Viva Purple, is usually a short walk away from most properties in the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is connected by about 20 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. In contrast, driving is a very good transportation option in Langstaff. Parking is easy, and most properties for sale are a short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 407.
Services
Parents and their schoolchildren will welcome the proximity to daycares and primary schools, which are within a short distance from all houses for sale in Langstaff. However, families may consider it very difficult for their schoolchildren to reach high schools by walking. When it comes to food, a supermarket is ordinarily accessible within a reasonably short stroll from most homes for sale in Langstaff. Moreover, there is generally a restaurant or cafe just around the corner. It is also a rather short trip to a good choice of clothing stores.
Character
The character of Langstaff is exemplified by its calm ambience. Public green spaces, including Bayview Reservoir Park and Russell Farm Park, are especially well-spread out and there are over 50 of them close by for residents to unwind in, which makes it easy to reach them from most locations in the neighbourhood. This part of Richmond Hill is also fairly good for those who prefer a quiet atmosphere, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case near Highway 407 or the railway line.
