Getting around
This neighbourhood is a very good part of the city with regards to travelling without driving. Beltline is an extraordinarily pleasant part of Calgary for pedestrians; running daily errands is especially convenient without a car, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Active property owners will also enjoy the fairly bike-friendly character of this part of the city. More precisely, there are a limited number of hills for cyclists to brave, and the cycling infrastructure is moderately comprehensive. With plenty of nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Blue Line - Saddletowne/69 Street CTrain and Red Line - Somerset - Bridlewood/Tuscany CTrain, and approximately 30 nearby bus lines, Beltline has a fairly good transit system. In contrast, travelling by car is sometimes difficult in this area since it is difficult to park, and many houses for sale are an occasionally long car ride from the closest highway.
