Cars are a very good means of transportation in Idlewood. Coming across a parking spot is easy, and many real estate listings are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway. On the other hand, the public transit system in Idlewood is rather poor. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and the nearest bus stop is usually around the corner. Moving around by bicycle is easy in Idlewood because Idlewood boasts good cycling infrastructure. Many of the homes for sale in this part of Kitchener are located in areas that are not particularly well-suited for pedestrians as few common errands can be run without a car.
