Even though the atmosphere is not the liveliest in this part of Niagara Falls with its a few bars, there are options for nighttime activities. Westlane is reasonably quiet overall, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic, although that is not the case around one of the railway lines, Highway 420 or Queen Elizabeth Way. The majority of locations in the neighbourhood have good access to green spaces, including Kalar Sports Park and Niagara Parks Floral Showcase, since there are approximately 30 of them nearby for residents to explore.

Getting around

Cars are a great transportation option in Westlane. Nearby highways, such as Highway 420, are reasonably easy to reach from anywhere in this part of Niagara Falls, and parking is quite easy. However, travelling by public transit is challenging in Westlane. Thankfully, there are approximately 30 bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. It is sometimes difficult for people travelling by foot to move around in Westlane as few daily needs can be met without the use of a car. Despite the fact that cycling is more practical in certain sectors than others, and the area is flat, bicycling is also at times challenging in Westlane since there are few bike lanes.

Everyday essentials

A grocery store is generally reachable within a rather short stroll from most properties for sale in this area. Likewise, there is often a restaurant or cafe just around the corner, for example on McLeod Road. In terms of education, it is a reasonably short walk to access daycares and schools from anywhere in this area.
