Getting around
Cars are an excellent medium of transportation in Livingston. The street layout is rather appropriate for driving, and nearby highways are very easy to access from any location in this part of Calgary. However, residents using public transit may have few options in Livingston by reason of the infrequent service. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are commonly close by. It is sometimes difficult to commute by bike in Livingston as there are a good number of elevation changes, and the bicycling network is not particularly well-developed. Livingston is also not very suitable for those who prefer to travel as pedestrians since running common errands is challenging without needing a car.
