Mount Royal is especially car friendly. It is convenient to park, and most houses for sale are a short drive from the closest highway. On the other hand, public transit users may have limited choices in Mount Royal by reason of the service's low frequency. Thankfully, there are approximately 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are generally very close by. It is easy to commute by bike in this area since the bicycling network is good. In contrast, walking in Mount Royal is not very common, even though most daily needs are convenient to carry out without a vehicle.
