A NEIGHBOURHOOD IN CONTEXT

you spend your day.

The character of Vinegar Hill is exemplified by its relaxed ambience. It is very easy to reach green spaces from the majority of locations within the neighbourhood since there are around 10 of them nearby for residents to explore. This part of Markham is also quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - however some areas can be quite noisy, especially closer to Highway 407.

Getting around

Cars are an excellent medium of transportation in this part of the city. The majority of real estate listings are a very short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 407, and it is especially convenient to access a parking spot. However, commuting by public transit is difficult in Vinegar Hill. Nevertheless, the nearest rapid transit station, such as Hwy 7 / Main Markham, Highway 7 / Galsworthy Dr and Hwy 7 / Wootten on the Viva Purple, is commonly a short distance away from most houses in the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. Cycling is easy in Vinegar Hill. However, getting around as a pedestrian in this area is not very popular, although most daily needs are convenient to meet without a car.

Everyday essentials

A grocery store is typically reachable within a rather short distance from most homes for sale in Vinegar Hill. In addition, this neighbourhood is a good place in which to eat out, and a limited number of coffee shops is available as well. With regards to education, it is a reasonably short walk to get to schools and daycares from anywhere in Vinegar Hill.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you
call it home.

What do the location scores measure?

Local Logic supplies individual access and character scores on a 0–5 scale for the recorded coordinates. Consider each measure separately; we do not calculate an overall livability rating.

Are the distances walking times?

No. Distances are straight-line measurements from the project reference. Open directions to check a walking, cycling, transit or driving route.

Does a nearby school guarantee admission?

No. Confirm attendance boundaries, programs, capacity and registration requirements with the relevant school board.

Do the demographic figures describe future residents?

No. They describe the existing population in the provider’s surrounding study area. They do not predict the buyers or future residents of this project.

SOURCES & METHODOLOGY

Prepared by Team Arora. Scores, neighbourhood descriptions, school records, places and demographic information are supplied by Local Logic. Requests are cached for up to 24 hours; underlying source periods may be older. Provider neighbourhood labels may differ from builder descriptions. Missing data remains unavailable.

Recorded coordinates: 43.8680975, -79.2576357. Amenity queries use a 2.5 km radius; school results retain the provider’s school-search coverage. Distances use the returned straight-line measurement, or are calculated directly between coordinates when absent. The project page includes the existing map; Google provides the linked directions. Verify current place details, boundaries and routes before making a decision.
