Getting around
Moving around by car is straightforward in this neighbourhood. Parking is quite easy, and it is a rather short drive to the nearest highway from any location in Lisgar. In contrast, Lisgar is not an especially convenient part of Mississauga for moving around by public transit. Nevertheless, residents can depend on plenty of rapid transit stations with access to the Meadowvale Express. There is the Lisgar on the Milton. Residents are served by around 20 bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. Lisgar is not especially suitable for people who like to travel as pedestrians as few common errands can be run without the need to use a car. However, commuting by bicycle is convenient in this part of the city because there are a fair number of bike lanes, and bike riders do not encounter serious elevation changes.
