Transportation

This neighbourhood is very car friendly. Nearby highways are fairly easy to reach from anywhere in Lisgar, and coming across a place to park is easy. On the other hand, the transit in Lisgar is not especially convenient. Nevertheless, there are a multitude of rapid transit stations on the Meadowvale Express. Residents can depend on the Lisgar with access to the Milton. There are about 20 bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far from most houses. It is sometimes difficult for pedestrians to move around in Lisgar because few common errands can be run without needing to use a car. However, this part of the city is reasonably amenable to cycling since there are a good number of bike lanes, and riding is facilitated by the generally flat terrain.

Services

The closest supermarket in Lisgar is usually only a reasonably short trip away. Likewise, those who like to dine in restaurants will have a fair number of options, and residents can enjoy a few cafes as well. With respect to education, it is a reasonably short distance to get to schools and daycares from most houses for sale in this area.
