Getting around

Islington Woods is a very good part of Vaughan for driving. It is very convenient to park. However, the transit in this part of Vaughan is fairly poor. Thankfully, property owners can depend on Wigwoss Helen Westbound, Wigwoss Helen Eastbound and Hwy 7 / Islington with access to the Viva Orange. There are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far away from most houses. This part of the city is reasonably amenable to biking. It is impractical for people travelling on foot to navigate Islington Woods as running daily errands is occasionally challenging without a car.

Everyday essentials

The nearest supermarket in Islington Woods is usually only a rather short stroll away. There are also a limited number of choices for those who care about restaurants and cafes in close proximity. In terms of education, it is a reasonably short trip to access primary schools and daycares from any location in Islington Woods. However, parents may find it difficult for their kids to reach high schools on foot.
