Cars are a fairly good transportation option in this part of Vaughan. Nearby highways are rather easy to access from any home in Patterson, and it is convenient to park. However, residents using public transit may have limited choices in this area due to the infrequent service. Nonetheless, commuters can count on Bathurst / Highway 7 on the Viva Orange. Homeowners profit from the Rutherford and Maple on the Barrie. Residents have access to about 20 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most properties. This part of Vaughan is moderately suited for cycling. On the other hand, traveling as a pedestrian in this area is not very common, although many daily errands can be run without needing to get in a vehicle.
