Transportation

This part of Abbotsford will attract home buyers who want to be in a community that's walkable because it is geared towards getting around on foot; running day-to-day errands is convenient without a car, and numerous businesses are reasonably close by. It is also convenient to commute by bicycle in this neighbourhood. Public transit riders may have few choices in Historic Downtown as a result of the low service level. Nonetheless, there are about 10 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are usually around the corner. In contrast, driving is very often the best approach to navigate this area. Finding a parking spot is easy, and the majority of homes for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway.

Services

It is frequently practical for property owners in this part of the city to buy groceries by walking. Moreover, Historic Downtown is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat, and residents can enjoy a few cafes as well. A decent selection of clothing stores can also be found within a reasonably short walking distance. With respect to education, schools and daycares are very easy to get to as a pedestrian from anywhere in Historic Downtown.

Character

No matter what type of character home buyers prefer in a neighbourhood, Historic Downtown is a good option. Historic Downtown is reasonably quiet overall, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue, although that is not the case near one of the railway lines. On the other hand, it is easy to get to parks in the neighbourhood since there are over 50 of them close by for residents to relax in. Lastly, although the ambience is not the most lively in this area finding one of the a few bars is very easy because they are generally located very close by.
