Transportation

Silver Valley is very car friendly. Parking is quite easy. In contrast, the public transit in Silver Valley is not very practical. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are commonly around the corner. Walking is not very feasible for residents in Silver Valley because carrying out day-to-day needs is inconvenient without the use of a vehicle. This neighbourhood is also not especially conducive to bicycling as there are a limited number of bike lanes, and cyclists are faced with a significant amount of slopes.

Services

Property owners in this part of Maple Ridge usually have to rely on a vehicle to do grocery shopping. There are also a few choices for those who value nearby restaurants. With regards to education, there are only a very small number of high schools in Silver Valley and consequently they can be a very long distance away. Likewise, this part of Maple Ridge does not contain any primary schools. Furthermore, it can be difficult to access daycares from houses for sale in this area.
