However, the public transit service in Cornell is not very frequent. Nonetheless, it is easy to reach a nearby rapid transit station, including Markham Stouffville Hospital, Hwy 7 / Wootten and Cornell Bus Terminal Platform 8 on the Viva Purple, from most houses in the neighbourhood. There are about 20 bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. Cycling is easy in this area since the bicycling infrastructure is very good. It is at times challenging for people walking to navigate Cornell as few common errands can be run without the need for a vehicle.
