Driving is very often the preferred means of transportation in Cornerstone. It is a very short drive to the closest highway from any home in Cornerstone, and it is very easy to come across a parking spot. In contrast, commuting by transit can be challenging in this area by reason of the infrequent service. Nevertheless, residents benefit from approximately 10 bus lines, and it is especially convenient to find a nearby bus stop from most houses. It is difficult to move around by bicycle in Cornerstone as there are very few bike lanes. Nevertheless, there are a limited number of slopes to challenge cyclists. This neighbourhood is also not very suitable for pedestrians as very few common errands can be run without needing to resort to a vehicle.
