— Local Logic neighbourhood profile

The neighbourhood, in detail

Transportation

This part of the city presents property owners with several alternative means of transportation. Don Valley Village is moderately transit friendly. For instance, there are many rapid transit stations with access to the Line 4 (Sheppard). Residents can rely on the Old Cummer and Oriole with access to the Richmond Hill. There are approximately 10 bus lines, and it is especially convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most homes. Don Valley Village will also attract people who want to live in a walkable area since it is walkable; many day-to-day errands can be run without needing a car, and plenty of businesses are reasonably close by. It is convenient to get around by bike in this area as Don Valley Village boasts fairly good bicycling infrastructure.

Services

It is usually feasible for house buyers in this area to do their grocery shopping on foot. Moreover, there are a fair number of opportunities within walking distance for those who care about restaurants and cafes. It is also easy to get to a variety of clothing stores by foot. As far as education is concerned, schools and daycares are straightforward to reach as a pedestrian from anywhere in Don Valley Village.

Character

People who prefer a calm atmosphere will enjoy Don Valley Village. The greenery in this part of Toronto is quite prominent as there are many tree-lined streets. It is very easy to access green spaces in the neighbourhood since there are over 50 of them close by for residents to explore. The noise levels in this part of Toronto are also quite low, as the streets are reasonably calm - although that is not the case around Highway 404 Collector or Highway 404.
