Transportation

House buyers in this part of the city are presented with various choices to travel without using a car. Getting around as a pedestrian is particularly practical for house buyers in this part of the city; most day-to-day errands can be run without a vehicle, and numerous businesses are especially close at hand. Physically active property owners will also enjoy the very cycling-friendly character of Wellington Place. More specifically, the bicycling infrastructure is rather extensive, and there is always a bike-share station in proximity. The excellent transit system makes transit a viable option for many by reason of many nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Line 1 (Yonge-University), and approximately 20 nearby bus lines. In contrast, driving is a somewhat poor mode of transportation in Wellington Place. Nevertheless, it is a short car ride to the closest highway from any location in this area.
