The neighbourhood, in detail

Transportation

This area is fairly convenient for those who travel as pedestrians; many day-to-day needs can be met without a vehicle. King George Corridor is also reasonably suited for cycling as the bicycling network is good. Cars are a very good medium of transportation in this area. Coming across a parking spot is quite easy, and it is a rather short drive to the closest highway, such as Highway 99, from anywhere in King George Corridor. However, public transit users may experience limited choices in King George Corridor as a result of the low service level. Nonetheless, homeowners are served by approximately 10 bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually around the corner.

Services

It is usually an option for home buyers in King George Corridor to buy their groceries by walking. Likewise, there is usually a restaurant or cafe just around the corner. It is also convenient to get to a selection of clothing stores as a pedestrian. Regarding education, families will find that wherever their house is located in King George Corridor, schools and daycares are close by.

Character

No matter what type of character home buyers prefer in a neighbourhood, King George Corridor is a fairly good option. Although the ambience is not the liveliest in this area finding one of the about 10 nightlife venues is easy because they are generally located a short distance away. King George Corridor is quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour, although there are still several louder sections, especially closer to the railway line or Highway 99. Green spaces, including Semiahmoo Park and Fergus Watershed Biodiversity Preserve, are very well-spread out and there are over 50 of them close by for residents to unwind in, which makes them easy to access.
