More specifically, the neighbourhood is connected by about 20 bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. Banbury-Don Mills will also appeal to house buyers who value being in a walkable area because it is walking-friendly; many daily needs can be carried out without a car. Banbury-Don Mills is fairly suited for cycling.

Parents and their children will find that wherever their property is situated in this neighbourhood, schools and daycares are nearby. This part of the city is reasonably quiet overall, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic - however noise can be problematic near one of the railway lines or Don Valley Parkway.
