Driving is an excellent means of transportation in Legacy. Many properties for sale are a rather short car ride from the closest highway, and parking is generally easy. However, the transit system in this part of the city is fairly poor. Nonetheless, residents have access to about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are typically very close by. The bike is a fairly good method of transportation in this part of Calgary because the bicycling network is fairly well-developed, and cyclists do not face serious hills. Legacy is not very suitable for people who like to travel on foot as running daily errands is challenging without a vehicle.

Services

Home buyers in Legacy typically need a vehicle to access the nearest supermarket. There are also a few options for those who appreciate restaurants in close proximity. With regards to education, it is a reasonably short walk to access secondary schools from most homes for sale in this part of Calgary. However, Legacy does not have any primary schools.
