John Montesano’s journey in the building industry started in 1956 in Italy. Over the next 15 years, the company built over 350 homes and completed its first commercial project. In 1989, John passed the leadership to his son, Joe Montesano, who continued the company’s growth, constructing 530 homes by 1999. By 2005, Primont Homes had built 1,500 homes, and by 2015, this number surpassed 3,000, solidifying their status as a leading builder of low-rise homes in communities like Brampton, Cornell, Milton, Oakville, Richmond Hill, and Woodbridge.
