Many properties for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, and it is very easy to access a parking spot. In contrast, the public transit service in this area is not very frequent. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close by. The bicycle is a fairly good method of transportation in Ontario Road - Dain City because there are few slopes to challenge cyclists. It is impractical for pedestrians to get around in this part of Welland as running common errands is occasionally challenging without the need for a vehicle.

It is a short stroll to reach primary schools and daycares from anywhere in Ontario Road - Dain City. However, this neighbourhood does not have any high schools. With respect to food, a grocery store is typically accessible within a reasonably short walk from any home in this neighbourhood.
