People who appreciate being able to walk to everything will be pleased with the rather pedestrian-friendly character of Guildford; many day-to-day errands can be run without a vehicle. Biking is also easy in Guildford as this part of the city boasts fairly good cycling infrastructure. Guildford is not especially transit friendly.
