Transportation

Stamford is an extremely convenient part of Niagara Falls for travelling by car. Parking is quite easy, and the majority of real estate listings are a rather short car ride from the closest highway, such as Highway 405. However, Stamford is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, homeowners are served by about 20 bus lines, and bus stops are commonly around the corner. Bicycling is convenient in Stamford since the topography is rather flat. However, there are relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of this area, although most daily needs are convenient to meet without a car.

Services

Schools and daycares are convenient to get to without a car from most houses for sale in this neighbourhood. Residents can choose between public and private elementary schools. With respect to eating, it is often possible for home buyers in Stamford to shop for their groceries by foot. Likewise, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner, and a limited variety of cafes is available as well. Property owners have access to a good number of nearby clothing stores.
